

While reading this, I thought that Stephen and Lucien have really adult fights. I maybe could have done without it, but I couldn't help noticing that they are adults while fighting, and that's such a refreshing take. Yes, please!
The book overall was delightful, and while the second book can be read as a standalone if you are not too into the series, this third book ties up the events in the first book so nicely. Well, the second book is important too to understand how it gets to that point, but I'm just saying, it can be skipped without missing any major elements.
