I really liked this one! I feel like the series, here on book 6 (!!) is really hitting its stride now. I particularly liked the end where we see what's happening in orbit around Earth and how things about to ramp up even more. 50,000 EX CRAWLERS? Crazy!!
I have been enjoying the growth of the writing and characters in these books. Even from the beginning I thought this series had more depth than it let on at first, and I think that's been proven at this point. I would not call these a challenging read per se, but I think they really do reward at least playing close attention to small details. Matt does a good job of reminding you of somethings ("Oh we got this thing way back on Level 2" or whatever) but some of the other small details and connections aren't as obvious unless you've been paying attention.
Anyways, excited to go on to Book 7 and beyond!
