Very fun series! Will be jumping back in when the next one hits to see how D and O hold up, and what happens as they learn more about the world at large.

Surprisingly good for a YA novel that all the little girls were raving about. Could have used some more adult content, but I liked it.

What do you say about this book? I'll leave you with how much I love the concept of flying - throwing yourself at the ground and forgetting to hit it.

This and all of the Ender books are great. This is my personal favorite, since I am such a huge fan of coming-of-age tales.

Love it! Coming of age, survival, badassery. Later books seemed to drag on to me, but I loved number one!

One of the first survival books I read, and one of the few non-fantasy/sci-fi in my collection. I hold this book in the highest regards, for me up there with my top favorites. Survivalism, under dog, outdoors, a little espionage...It was a heady mix for me. Not sure what else to say, except if you ever read Hatchet, pick this up - it is definitely the big kid version :)

Read this when I was little, and I would be lying through my teeth if I said it didn't change who I was going to grow up to be.

I enjoyed this, though I read it so long ago I cannot remember the details. Animals as souls is about all I can come up with.

A classic and must read, at this point. Rothfuss is a god amongst authors as far as I am concerned.

One of the few things that has ever made me cry. I am no insensitive, just takea a lot to move me to tears.

Quick light read. Interesting concepts.
