I read more than half of this then got kind of bored with it. Robert Moses was a fascinating guy, his impact on NY is huge, and Caro is an excellent biographer but there was a lot more detail there than I care to cram into my brain.

First three were fun but wow. I am so bored of this series.

Brand is really, really good at going on long, semi-eloquent polemical rants. There's really not a ton of substance here, but it's a fun read and sometimes even thought provoking.

Surprisingly easy and fun to read. Harris makes an convincing argument for determinism while taking into account opposing views in what seems to be a fair and comprehensive way.

This book just came at the right time for me. Huxley's ingenious weaving of his philosophy of life into a story told by an old guy sitting down with his buddies made for a fun afternoon of reading and pondering.

He's a fascinating guy but unfortunately a terrible writer. I'd love to read a bio by someone who could get more from depth from him through good interviews.

Very formulaic, but reading them out loud won me lots of points with the four year old crowd :)

Great adaptation of Beowulf for kids. The language is simplified but the story is fully in tact.
