I really liked this book. It went by so fast and I look forward to picking up book 2.

Great book! It did not take me long to relate to the FMC. I loved the journey she went through from grief, to fear, to love, to confidence! Definitely a reread contender.

Also listened to the audiobook and the narrator was fantastic!

This was a nostalgic reread and still loved it!

There were some moments that kept me intrigued, but the author's choice of language and overall style of expression just wasn't my vibe. Just couldn't finish.

Unfortunately, I could not connect with the story or the writing. I wasn't the right audience apparently.

Such a fun story and quick read. I can totally see this being a reread a few times.

Stopped at 60%. I just couldn't finish it. I was not connecting at all to the story or characters. I was not the right audience apparently.

The story had a bit of spice, which isn't my usual vibe but it didn't effect my enjoyment of the book. I enjoyed the world, the characters and the vibes. The ending definitely made me excited for book 2.

This story had me hooked from page one. I had a hunch about the twist, but didn’t guess it completely right (which I’m glad about 😅). I love when thrillers keep me guessing instead of me figuring everything out early. Overall, a satisfying ending!

Another great and thought provoking Frieda book. And always plenty of twists to keep you on your toes.

I enjoyed the book enough to be interested in the story, but something about it kept me from fully loving it. I’m not even sure what it was—maybe the flow, the pacing, or some unresolved issues?

I was excited to read this book when I saw it. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it just wasnt for me. I couldn't fully connect with the story, not sure why, probably a me thing.

I almost DNF'd this book, still not sure why I didn't. I guess some of twists kept me interested enough. The main issue I had is that the story felt like YA, not sure why. Since I didn't expect that it turned me off a bit.

I didn't know what to expect but I really enjoyed this story - I laughed, I got watery eyes (because I didn't officially cry) and I cheered. I will never see gingerbread the same again lol

I absolutely loved this story! Funny, inspiring, adventurous and a strong fmc.
