While the book can be sincere and touching at times, the plot armor for the protagonist makes it very hard to take seriously. Without any other narrative arcs and a need to fill the pages, it gets boring quick especially when one can anticipate the luck they'll conveniently "stumble upon" when they're about to die.

In retrospect as a union organizer, this book taught me how to stand up for myself and alongside peers to win from the boss. I highly recommend this book.
