Really, really good performances. I'm glad I was listening and not reading this. Some of the situations were very graphic.

This book was good. Again I appreciated that the big fight did not come at the end.

This one was better. It didn't end with a big fight, that was in the middle. It was fast paced enough to keep me interested.

I'll start with the story. It was fast paced and interesting. The characters were also interesting. Normally I would want to go on in the series, and I probably will. But having just finished all the Kate Daniels books the story elements seem like it's built the same, with the big battle coming at the end.

This story was good. There was a lot going on all at once. Between the love story, the diagnosis of his issues, the issue with the rogue group on the edge of pack territory and the Consortium. I see the need for them all to be part of the story, but it was still a bit much.

Wow, this was a good book. This is a fascinating world I love going back to.

Ok, I thought I had read this book before. But once I got into it, i realized I hadn't. I'm glad I did pick it up. It is fantastic. So different than the urban fantasy that I've been reading.

This book finished almost as I expected. A lot of lose ends were tied up.

I liked the story of Hugh and Elara. I didn't like that they sniped at each other constantly. It's not my idea of how a couple should work. I understand why they act this way. But I think if they are to become a couple they need to open up to each other and become vulnerable. I don't know that I want to read the next one. I would love to know more of the story, but not if they keep at each other like this.

What a ride at the end of the book. I figured out who took her, but still the ride at the end was satisfying.

It took me a while to get into the book. Once I got passed the first couple of chapters it went fast.

This book hit all the right buttons for me. It didn't end as I thought it would, though I'm glad it didn't.

This is a short story so I didn't include it in my usual calculations for this year.

I liked this book. I noticed some typos in the version I have that threw me out for a minute until I reread and added a different word.

I loved this telling of the Beauty and the Beast story. Very inventive.

This book made me sad at the end.

Good book, good story. I'm still trying to digest all that happened. I'm sad about a couple of characters and want to know more of what happens to them. I'll probably go on to the next one.

I liked this story better than some of the others. Scarlett is a strong female not willing to put up with what Anya or Breezy had to put up with. She made her own decisions.

First a confession. We read different books, both YA with the same title, but by different authors. This one I read I liked. I kept imagining the Moai when the stones would talk and move.

This took me so long to read. I don't know why. I didn't feel invested in the beginning part of the book. I didn't feel invested in the many endings of it either.

This one took me way to long to read. It was hard to follow the chain of events and who all the players were. The book kept ending and ending and ending.

I loved this book. But I love all the October Daye stories. I also loved the short story at the end of the book. I'm not telling what and who it's about because spoilers. But it's really good.

What a wonderful book and quite a ride. I didn't want to know the ending if it was bad, but I couldn't stop reading. The last few pages I had to read in chunks and then get settled down again.

Very satisfying quick read. I'm glad we picked it for our September book. I needed something uplifting.

Interesting book. It was not the story I was expecting. I was so tempted while reading it to do research. But I held myself back knowing it would ruin the flow of the book for me.
