Fluent in Romance
Emily Rose has delivered a truly unique take on mafia romance that stands out from anything else I’ve read in the genre. The writing is top-tier, and I loved how the new characters were introduced while the "found family" threads began to weave together. It is such a well-told story that does a brilliant job of building momentum for the finale.
However, the chemistry between the leads didn't quite click for me. Based on his previous cameos, Massimo wasn't the character I expected, and I struggled to connect with Lucy as a heroine. Even though the pairing wasn't my personal favorite, the innovative storytelling makes this a must-read. I can't wait to see how it all wraps up in the last book!
