If you thought Damon was bad in book one, Mathias is absolutely worse, and I loved every single second of it! This is the ultimate read for anyone who loves a dark, obsessive stalker trope. Mat has a 10-year-old promise to keep, and he spends that time tracking her every move and ensuring absolutely no one else can get near her. The heroine saw every single one of his red flags and decided red was her favorite color, and honestly? Same.
My only slight critique is that I would have loved to get the backstory chapters (the telling of their history) a bit earlier in the book rather than at the very end. But honestly, getting to see their story play out was worth it either way. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish and already have the next one downloaded and ready to go. If you love an intense, over-the-top possessive hero, you need to pick this up!
