Amy Daws is a bit of an evil genius. I absolutely love an unplanned pregnancy trope (even if it's unrealistic, it’s easily one of my favorites) and this book completely delivered. It takes a mild dislike-to-lovers setup and packs it with so much unexpected trauma that the tears I cried were unreal. In this particular story, she completely broke my heart while making me so happy they fell in love.
The only reason it’s a four-star read instead of five is that I would have liked a bit more groveling at the end. But otherwise, it was a great, highly enjoyable read.
