Loved the book, but I would not recommend the audiobook for this one.

Ex stories aren't usually my jam, but Rainbow Rowell can do anything.

Good good good!!

Absolutely fantastic. I never would have picked this up on my own, because quite frankly, it looks like Just Another Christian Self-Help Book. But it was recommended to me, so I checked out the audiobook, and I'm so glad I did. There's a lot of food for thought (and, even better, action) here.

Three stars because I'm feeling generous and because I'm glad this book exists. It just could have been much better than it actually was. Also, I would recommend skipping the audiobook unless you want Jasper to sound like Gilderoy Lockhart.

This book was so good it almost makes me want to subject myself to Our Town again.

Almost.

This book has one of those worlds and magic systems that are so original and interesting that I want to stay there and explore and even write my own stories. I am obsessed. 😍

A bit slow at times, but an interesting story and gorgeous writing.

George Lucas: Hey, R.A., how'd you like to write a Star Wars book?

Salvatore: I'd love to! Quick question: any limit to the number of times I can use the word "diminutive" in it?

Lucas: Um...no?

Salvatore: Perfect.

I enjoyed aspects of this book, but it definitely did not live up to the hype.

Strong content warning for miscarriage. If that is a triggering subject for you, I would suggest skipping this book.

Sadly, this one did not live up to The Push, but I still look forward to reading more from Audrain in the future.

I did a reread tonight in preparation for Lowe's next book coming out tomorrow, and it holds up wonderfully on a reread!

Reading the author's note at the end made me feel bad about how disappointed I was with this book, so I won't be sharing details. But...yeah. Disappointed, to say the least.

I DID IT. Whew. I love this world, but this one was a challenge.

Very brief and generalized advice – basically a long blog post. I think I read the whole thing in 15 minutes. Still, a handy little book if you're just dipping your toes into the idea of raising dairy goats.

*3.5 stars. Good story, mediocre writing. Extra half star for Pip and Rooney as Benedick and Beatrice, specifically.
