meh, not my style of book.

Wow. After reading “14”, also written by Peter Clines, “The Fold” is just an absolutely fantastic book. I highly recommend them both, and I highly recommend reading them in this order.

Definitely the best book of the series so far. Sad that it took this long for the series to really take off, but starting to finally feel worth the effort.

This series is probably my favorite fantasy series that I've read. It has its serious main storyline but is punctuated by naive humor and fun silly situations and circumstance. Very well written characters and the Audible narrator, Nick Podehl, was able to create unique voices for 20-30 characters and keep them identifiable, consistent, and full of personality.

The only negative I can think to say about this series so far is that the audiobook version of Book 3 will not be out for a while (the physical copy should be released in December or January, but then they'll still have to record the audio version).

In any case, I HIGHLY recommend this series, and especially the audiobook version.

This book was absolutely ADORABLE and not at all what I was expecting. Can't wait to start in on the second one.
