The twist had me pacing around my room. Loved this book and the creative images inside made the whole experience immersive

This is a good read but you need a strong stomach. This is by far the most messed up book I've read in a long time.

Really interesting plot and idea, I feel as though the ending was slightly disappointing and short. There was a lot of potential, and just not enough pay out. However the writing and the characters were excellent.

I really enjoyed this book and could visualize everything so clearly with the author's descriptions. Th main character is so sweet and feels very real to me.

I took a while to write this review after reading. Honestly... it's forgettable. What I remember most is that the main character is genuinely unlikable and frustrating. She is supposed to be a journalist but seems to have zero clue as to what is going on at any given moment.

This is an interesting psychological thriller that affects an entire neighborhood. A lot of truths in the story make the twist almost believable that it would happen in today's world. I was on the edge of my seat towards the end, but the build up in the beginning was a little slow-burn for my taste. However the payoff was definitely worth it.

This book was okay for me. As someone who struggles with ADHD and memory, I was constantly feeling like I was missing things. I couldn't remember characters or the plot due to the backwards telling of the story. While I love the idea of the crime being told backwards, it was incredibly hard to remember over the span of days. If I had to read the book again I would wait until I had one full day to dedicate to it. This is a book that I feel would have been better had I read it in one sitting.

Incredible true story about one of the worst moms in history. I had to constantly remind myself that this story was true as the horrors were so over-the-top evil that they were difficult for a psychologically average person to comprehend as possible. As a consistent true crime consumer, it was a new case I had never heard about. The author has a clear voice and determination to tell the victim's stories.
