This book is incredible. Is it wrong to say that reading this was somewhat redemptive? I loved reading through her stories and experiences. It gave space for me to reflect through my own background, political ideologies, and why I do what I do. Definitely worthy of 5 stars.

This is the kind of book to come back to multiple times. Necessary, helpful, and comforting.

No words can express the power and freedom this book holds. It was borrowed from me for awhile so I couldn't finish it in a timely fashion, but it is definitely a book I will come back to time and time again. It is relevant for seasons of change, growth, grief, and anticipation.

A sermon book-ified; I could have read a 200 page work on this topic. It is a one-sitting kind of book and well worth it. Keller beautifully notes the freedom found in the idea that humility is “not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less” and goes through Paul's letter in 1 Corinthians 3:21-4:7 where Paul considers pride and praise.
