Cool story, interesting world, compelling characters. Can definitely see the Brandon Sanderson influence. The first person perspective was an adjustment for me but I ended up enjoying it. Highly recommend!

Only took me two tries! Beautiful document. Obviously doesn't read like The Lord of the Rings but is a must read for anyone who loves Middle Earth.

Slow start for me for whatever reason but super fun to see through. Love the Western-ish vibe.

Overwhelmed trying to pen anything that can really sum up what I think and feel about this book. It's a semi-culmination to an amazing adventure, physically, cognitively, and spiritually that I feel like I went on for myself. The characters are so wonderful that you can't helped but be changed by their own personal journeys within the warring borders of the continent, Roshar. I can't wait to read it again and again and again.

The prose is so good, but honestly I had a little trouble hanging in there for the broader story. I think Rothfuss might leave a little too much dangling in front of us without any kid of real partial resolution to leave me desperate to find out what happens next. Excited to move on to book two, but not thrilled, if that makes sense. Fun read though! Hopeful for how it ends (if it ever does...).

Truly incredible. I don't think I've ever wanted to immediately reread a series so badly. The closing scene will go down as an all time favorite for me.

So delightful and charming. Such good characters that nearly made me cry several times. Excited to pass this along to my son when he's older.

Full of characters and moments so good and noble that it might actually make you a little more hopeful about the world, no matter how dark and terrifying the conditions might be.

Such a convicting and yet refreshing read. I feel encouraged toward an intense vision of discipleship that actually sounds like it helps to remove a burden instead of adding one.

Recommend this to really anyone, but can see it being particularly helpful for either new believers or longtime believers who've have a sense of stagnation or a loss of purpose.

Perfect for fantasy fans who want a more whimsical take on the genre that doesn't forfeit all weight in the process.

Perfect ending to Era 2.

Not quite the caliber of the OG series but I know Sando intended this series to be a little more of a popcorn read. Still a fun journey and excited to read the rest of the series.

Cool to see how Scadrial has changed and advanced since the Hero of Ages.

Fun action and fun Cosmere/Mistborn reveals and tie ins.
