This use of language in this book was beautiful, echoing the inner and outer turmoil of each of the narrators. Their story will stay with me for a long time, which is definitely the mark of excellent writing.

It was interesting to learn more about the SOE and Nuremberg trials through the eyes of the twins, and I was deeply moved by the secrets they held from each other as well as the wider horrors of occupied France.
