When I started this one I assumed (wrongly) that it would specifically revolve around religious cults. While they are mentioned, Amanda dove into the various cults such as Crossfit, Lularoe, cult followings for social media influencers, musicians and even our facist sitting president. While I found this book so intriguing and a great way to dip your toe into the vast amount of cults out there. I did not enjoy the prose that Amanda chose to use throughout this book and the audiobook felt a little robotic for my liking.
