An interesting case where the author's performance of the book really adds (literally) to the book in an excellent way. Over the course of reading his autobiography, Izzard adds a remarkable number of footnotes by going on informative (and often interesting) tangents. Izzard's story is an interesting one and in Izzard's voice, with Izzard's performance, even more so.

Interesting book that goes between the life of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and George. Ultimately Arthur uses his detective skills to prove that George was not guilty of the crime he was accused.

Great book overall. Touching, informative, emotional.
