Spanning generations, this list aims to compile all of the Nominees (and winners) from the inaugural 1953 presentation of The Hugo Award to the present. There are many exceptional books here that deserve just as much attention that are normally given to the winners.
Some notable omissions include the "Retro" awards that were held to nominate and award book in years where Hugo awards were not given.
Additionally, the entire Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan/Brandon Sanderson is omitted as it is not a single book. The entire series was nominated as a single entry in 2014. I only omit it here for the sake of not confusing the individual books not being nominated in their release years (I personally consider it an incredible series and highly recommend reading it in its entirety if you can handle the investment.)
