See allParts of the book I skimmed through, mainly because it was a bit on the bland side but other than that, I loved it so much! I was pretty gravitated to this book because the setting is based off of a radio station and being that I'm a journalist / communication major, I wanted to give this book a try!
Perfect workplace romance & enemies to friends to lovers! Not to mention, I really like how Rachel added their radio show script in the story.
I also relate to the characters so much! More specifically Shay with the fact that I also hate my voice on air (I had to do a podcasting production class). The banter between Shay & Dominic was quite funny and cute.

Ahhhhhh oh my goodness this was the cutest thing I've ever read or more so listened because I was listening to the audiobook!
The audiobook was really well done!
The way how each chapter ended, It had me on my toes, eager to know what will happen and how the story was gonna end! Everything was written perfectly & the audiobook was narrated perfectly too! From the plot, the characters and even the sounds effects for the audiobook (Jules meowing, the sound of a text being sent off, the phone dial). I definitely relate to the FMC (Vera) a lot too as someone who likes to try everything but eventually gives up halfway through and can never focus on or stick to one thing at a time.
There wasn't any spice! It's one of those cute contemporary romance books!
The book is quite short (219 pages long, 6 hours total on audiobook) and can be finished in a day if you really wanted to!
There is also a little plot twist! I'm not the one who would release a spoiler, so all I will say is that the plot twist is during the last half of the book, and it definitely took me by surprise!
Definitely recommend this book to someone who needs something quick to read / listen to!
Actually a 4.5 ⭐️ rating! This book would've been a 5 star if there wasn't so much intimate scenes in the book. The sex content I feel like is overused and it got to the point where I had to skip through certain scenes / chapters of the book. That being said I'm taking a .5 off.
But other than that, I love the characters (like seriously all of them except Aaron) and their character development within the story. The plot is really good too! Nate Hawkin's is a walking green flag for sure!
I can't wait to read the other two books in the series!
A book that taught me all about love. The magic of love. How to love. To believe in love at first sight.
Usually I can finish a book in 3 to 5 days but this one took me much longer as I took my time to read it. Also because I was learning how to love a special someone who recently became a part of my life recently. The ending of the book, made me tear up.
The characters are so relatable and very memorable to me. Lucie despite feeling lonely also believing in the magic of love. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to stand up for what she wants.
Aiden being someone(due to the past of their childhood) who fell out of love and always despised the idea of love: how to love or what it's like to be in love.
I would like to say, I have the physical book and was also listening to the audiobook too! I went back and forth between the two. Lemme just say, I loved both forms of the book so much. The writing style was amazing and I loved the audio narration! The banter between the character in the audiobook made me laugh and the radio clips in between the chapters was so clever too!
Highly recommend this book to anyone. I think it's gonna be one of my new favourites. This is my first ever B.K. Borison book, and I'm honestly so excited to find / read more books from this author!
I'll try to make this short and sweet with a hint of spoiler free review.
This book is probably gotta be one of my new favourites. I needed a break from all the spicy romance books I normally read, and this was the perfect palate cleanser for me!
It was so beautifully written! I love how the author used both Spanish slang and also common British terminology like “mum” instead of mom for example. It definitely makes the story more diverse and unique!
I love Lila so much. I love her character development throughout the story and the relationship building between her and Orion!
The setting of the story was so descriptive that I can just picture it in my mind (England is one place that I've always wanted to visit one day).
The chapters are quite short which I like because it makes it more motivating to read and I love how for some parts of the story, the new chapter flows really well with the ending of the previous chapter!
High recommend this book to someone!!
