In my opinion, this books falls short of the legacy that the previous books were setting. The series did so well, and the books in the middle of the series (3-6) we're such well drawn and their stories felt well thought out and somewhat convincing. But with this book, everything just kind of ends. I don't feel like we get satisfying payoff for anything, and instead of carrying forth themes and plots that were presented in previous stories, its like this just throws everything else away to end the stories in a completely different place.
