this was so good i loved it so much!

easily a top tier book i have ever reas. carrie was the first horror movie i ever watched so the story alone holds a special place in my heart. this story was SO powerful and i loved reading it. I think this retelling was perfect because it had some of the things in this classic but so many things were different. This is definitely one of my favorite reads of the year so far.

MY FAVORITE BOOK BY HER WHAT- this was absolutely madness from the first chapter and had me hooked. this book is so underrated too like i never see it anywhere

this was a 5 star until about 80% of the way the ending felt rushed and almost lazy but aside from that it came together well and the epilogue was gokd. i just loved the rest of the book so much i am still giving it 4 stars

why are people hating on this i LOVED THIS. I loved every perspective and the way it tied in the end definitely was a shock. I just love anything Lisa Jewell writes and this was no exception. The only reason its a 4 is because I feel like its not on that five star level that Then she was gone and Invisible Girl is. Overall I loved this and read it so fast

4.5 i loved this and it was tons of fun! it was different from a normal thriller which i loved. megs character was just so much fun and the storyline was just fun as a whole. i highly recommend this.

this was disgusting and made me gag multiple times but it was overall a good and short extreme horror novella

I really loved this book. It was a similar approach of Jennifer Hillers books. I thought the twist at the end were really good and shocking. I just feel like its not on a 5 star level like the other ones were. Overall still loved it and Ill read anything Jennifer Hiller writes

I absolutely DEVOURED this book so fast the writting was so easy to read. I realize even if its a bad book by her her writting makes it SO EASY to read but this was AMAZING and I definitely was shocked by the Final twist. I love when I am shocked by a book and didnt predict it. I love how some of the characters were morally grey and some were obviously good. I definitely did love one of the characters a lot. Lisa Jewell is forever my queen because she got me back into reading and she is one of if not my fabulous author. She has MASTERED multiple point of views where you are intrigued by all point of views! This is probably my second favorite by her next to Then She Was Gone!

WHAT THE HECK- I was hooked from page 1 and I loved every minute of this book I know people are mad at the end but I LOVED IT! That doesnt take away the fact this book was SO good! This definitely caught me by suprise and this could be a new favorite of the year! I will definitely read more from this author because if this is only her debut she will have a lot more amazing books

4.5 i really enjoyed this and found the writing easy to read and i didnt expect some of the plot twist i had fun with it and that's what i look for in a book.

had potiential. i enjoyed parts of this book and didnt enjoy parts. i feel like a lot of it went in the direction i didnt want it too. i just dont enjoy slasher books as well ive come to realize that. the first 20% was looking to be a 4 but it just kinda went off the rails

WOW- this was deep and dark and had me HOOKED the podcast element worked perfectly and this is definitely a new favorite for me.

this was THE BEST Alice Feeney book it almost gave me Lisa Jewell vibes and I WAS HOOKED. I just got so intrigued by the story and the characters and THE KILLER POV is so unique and I loved it definitely a favorite of the year

i see why its a classic and is loved this is where the locked room thriller trope came from a good whodunnit. i found the first bit slow is why i am giving it a 4 but i overall did enjoy it!

the fact i read this in a day is enough to say i was HOOKED! I really felt attached to the characters and it was sorta nostalgic. I did love the ending and epilogue it's definitely an amazing book and I didnt see the plot twists coming.

i ended up going with 5 stars. the first 15 pages were sorta hard to read/too descriptive but i enjoyed the rest of it. The misery chapters were just filler pages but I understand the purpose they were there. The reason I went with a 5 star was the SUSPENSE and just the overall chills I got reading this and when the scenes happened and the end had me shocked which is an amazing factor. I cannot wait to read more Stephen King because I absolutely loved this one

IGNORE HOW LONG IT TOOK TO READ I HAD STUFF GOING ON! but wow this is one of my new all time favorites and so unexpecting too i loved it from about pg50- til the end to me it got better and better it was a bit slow in the beginning but i am BLOWN AWAY and i just love this one so much

an all time favorite for me i cant express my love for this book enough the length intimidated me but after about page 350 i flew through HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend

solid thriller i did really like the ending it was about a 3.5 until the ending i did predict a big twist in the book but not the last two which i was happy about

NEW ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOK WHAT? Coming into this I was very skeptical but was I wrong. This story had me hooked from the beginning. I have come to realize missing person is my favorite trope in a book. The suburban vibes of these are my absolute favorites and the ending was so so good and I did not see it comimg. Wow I just love this book definitely top 5 I have ever read and maybe my favorite of the year so far

i had so much fun with this one definitely my favorite grady hendrix i loved the characters (besides the men) and the ending was so so good i was scared about it but everything wrapped up so good. Grady Hendrix is an amazing author and now its time for me to read his whole backlist

this was just a fun and easy to read book. i enjoyed every second of it what more can i ask for? the short chapters were so so good and the writting style was so easy to get through! definitely gonna read more from shari lapena because i absolutely loved this and rich people drama is one of my favorite tropes
