I read this in my matric year and actually loved it. It is a story of love and the ultimate sacrifice, with an opening paragraph that remains ingrained in my mind. A pure classic.

I don't often read crime fiction, however, I always make an exception for Alex Cross.

I don't usually read crime fiction, but I am willing to make an exception for Alex Cross..

I first read this play in school and only years later actually saw it performed. To really appreciate it, you have to see it and not only read it. A shocking revelation of the results of mass hysteria and selfish lies.

I read this series in high-school and loved it. I enjoy stories about strong women.

Being a young teenager at the time of reading - I absolutely loved the ‘idea' that Ayla was the first person to ever ride on a horse - AND she was a woman! Yeeehaa!

I was about 15 when I first read this book, and I remember thinking ‘wow, I want to be as strong and independent as Ayla'. I think she is generally a much better role model for young women then Bella from Twilight. But maybe I am just getting old....

Read it again just to be sure.
