This is the first book I have read by Sloane and It will NOT be the last! Once again I am at the mercy of a talented human being and what she bestows upon us. Sloane is such a talented writer and I cannot believe I waited this long to pick up her book.
Coach Sully had to be one of the hottest characters I have read! He definitely made me want to call him Daddy. And add in the age gap? Yes please and Thank you 😊. I couldn't get enough of Sully and his whole vibe.
With the banter, loads of tension and the super HAWT 🔥 spice! This right here is what makes me want to read even more of Sloane's books!!

One of my pet peeves is miscommunication and this book made me not hate it AS much. I was absolutely LIVING for this banter!! This was legit some of the best banter I have read! I cannot wait to see more of what Sloane can bring in regards to banter!

Vanessa and Sean performed this in a duet style narration and it was ✨️chef's kiss 💋 😘 ✨️ They did such an amazing job bringing Blythe and Atlas to life! I couldn't get enough of Sean/Atlas growl that he does 😍. He was the ultimate broody MMC and he did an FANTASTIC job!! Vanessa came in with Blythe and gave her the voice that she deserved! Blythe had that soft tone that really gave us what we needed to imagine her demeanor and how she was in general.

Blythe was a character that I wasn't prepared for. I didn't realize how much I would have had in common with her until the end of the book. Some of her traits like reading someone's body language and their moods definitely hit home. I have been doing this since I was a kid, due to having narcissistic parents. You always have to be able to read them and anticipate the worst. Blythe unfortunately had a horrendous husband who was nothing short of a monster. Don't even get me started on her family.
My little heart 💕💗 went pitter patter when she really started to be her true self. She was able to spread her wings and feel the safety she always needed from Atlas. They had some amazing chemistry and I couldn't bave loved them more!
I am so beyond excited to continue this series!

Victoria Wilder has a way with words that I am forever astonished with. She boggles my mind with her word magic and I am more than a willing participant. I will always be at the front of the line waiting for more Word Porn if you will 😉. Just when I'm already mourning the end of the series, she goes and wrecks me with all of the Hadley and Ace I wanted and so much more. This woman legit has magic flowing from her brain all the way to those fingers and I can't help but keep eating it up at every turn.
I have loved Hadley and Ace from the very beginning where we met everyone in Bourbon & Lies. Hadley is a woman's woman who refused to apologize for being herself. I love Hadley's whole vibe and the energy she gives. She is the woman that so many others aspire to be. She knows what she wants and she does whatever it takes to make it happen.
From the get go she always told Ace that he was her Daddy, whether he liked it or not. Hadley is an enigmatic woman who you can't help but stare and hope she doesn't think you're a creeper. She's the stunning woman who walks into the bar and you can't keep your eyes off of her. She has always made it obvious what she wants and Ace was always at the heart of it. I mean a girl doesn't propose for nothing 🤷.
Hadley legit is ome of the strongest women and I admire that soo much. She hasn't had it easy but she made sure to make all the hard work look like it was nothing. Even though Hadley had a father that was at best manipulative, she always had Griz and all of the Foxx family. She was never truly alone, because she was apart of the best family anyone could ever ask for in life.
Daddy Ace, where do I even begin with you??? You have to be the most frustrating man. Not because you always choose to be but because you have your reasons.
Ace is the ultimate Morally Grey MMC that so many hope they snag. He has all of the best intentions and follows through with them. He not only has his heart set on Hadley but also making sure his family is safe at all costs. But it always falls back to who truly holds his heart ❤️. I loved Ace so much. He literally bought 5 years worth of underwear to keep her safe. Not just that but also so that she could fund Midnight Proof. He was always there even if she didn't know it. He lived her from the wings so that he could take care of her and keep her safe.
These two had the most fire 🔥 chemistry. Not just in their amazing back and forth banter but also their whole vibe. Their vibe is what really propelled them forward. They were rhe perfect match for each other. They couldn't have been more perfect for each other. I absolutely ATE up their dynamic and banter. It was definitely a FEAST!!
I am so beyond sad that this trilogy is over but I am beyond excited to see where the next series takes us!

Once again I am beholden at the mastery of Jenni and Brittanee has over this whole writing thing. I am always so blown away that they can write sooo well! Each book they write just keeps getting better! I will never not auto- buy these two! Onto the review you've come for!
Fisher and Libby couldn't have been a better match! I loved their chemistry, banter and their all together vibe.
Through beach called and they want you on its shores ASAP 🏖. This book is perfect while you lounge because it gives us everything we need. Summer People has plot, Suspense and SPICE 🔥🔥🔥. And did I mention that Libby gets a PINK 🎀 golf cart that she names Putt Putt? Oh I didn't? Well now you know that you need to get this and find out alll about it! Because how cute 😍 is that name?
Single Guardian tropes make me feel some type of way and this was no exception. Fisher and Sutton had a great relationship... it was just missing one thing, Libby. Libby was the perfect piece to their puzzle they had been missing! The bond that they all shared was so beautiful 😍. They all needed each other in different ways and they all messed and mingled together in such a way it was like the universe ✨️ was waiting for them to meet at the perfect time.
Fisher the handsome Grumpy Pants he is obsessed with our girl Libby. And not in the skeevy way. He couldn't help but rush to her side when she was in need. Just because his brain shorted out when he was around her and he communicated in grunts doesn't mean he wasn't an intelligent man! He just knew that Libby was what he has been waiting for all that time.
Libby was literally the fish out of water due to circumstances out of her control. But that doesn't mean she isn't going to be herself, and charm them with her personality. She didn't know how much she needed Fisher and Sutton until they sprinted into her life. The relationship that Libby and Sutton shared was so special. Sutton made her feel as if she was welcome and put her at ease!
This book is deemed a slow burn 🔥 but that doesn't mean that it is devoid of spice 🌶 at about 50%! The spice 🌶 was spicing 🔥 and I wasn't even sad about it! Spice like this is an art form!
I absolutely couldn't stop eating up this book once I started. I cannot wait to see what comes next on Moneghan Island.

Jason and Emma really brought the whole town of Starlight Cove to life! They both did such an amazing job of voicing each character and giving them a voice! They truly excelled when it came to Sutton and Atlas! Jason was the perfect grump for the job! He made Atlas that perfect kind of grump. He gave me all of the Beast (from Beauty & The Beast) vibes that I never knew that I needed. Emma gave Sutton the perfect timbre in her voice that was the perfect offset to Jason. She not only gave Sutton the best voice but she also went above and beyond with Laurel. I loved Laurel's character anyway, but Emma had the perfect cadence that so many teenagers have! Not just that, but they also had the charismatic tones that they would have had in real life.
On to the review!
I fell head over heels for this whole book within the first chapter! This is the first book by Brighton Walsh that I have listened/read and I am sooo glad this is the first I listened to. Not so glad it took me this long to read her, but now I have a bar set for future books! Don't think I'm not going to run to her backlist and pick one of my next reads when I have the time to read off of my TBR!
Sutton was definitely a shining star in this book, but not so shining that the other characters were overshadowed. But just enough that she truly stood out. I loved her so much, I wish that I could be her friend! She truly was a character that will stand out to me for a long time. She also suffered from migraines, and this is something that isn't always discussed in books. It makes her even more endearing because she is like so many of us. Not just a character in a book. I loved that she did everything she could to make sure that her and Laurel were taken care of. Even if it wasn't what Laurel would have loved, but, she was always making sure that Laurel was loved and had everything she needed.
IYKYK, not all parents, much less moms are like this. But Laurel hit the jackpot with Sutton. Sutton was one of those parents that was the parental figure but also her daughters friend. She was able to talk to her about sex among other things, even if Laurel gave her eyerolls along the way. She was the mom that you could go to about anything. I know that she struggled at times with their lifestyle when it came to Laurel, but I know that when she got into Starlight Cove, it was a different story once they settled in with Mr. Grumpy Pants.
From the beginning, Sutton and Atlas hit it off in the best way. He was himself more then than he was most times. He was vulnerable in a way that not many people were able to see him. Their banter is what got me the most in this book. She was Miss Happy, and he was Mr. Grumpy Pants even when it didn't serve his purpose. I truly enjoyed how their chemistry unfolded and just kept building throughout the book! That banter and chemistry really gave them that extra something special.
Not only was their chemistry a match outside the bedroom, but it was even better inside. I loved that they knew each others bodies so well, and it wasn't a fumbling disaster. They had a second language of their own that truly spoke to their connection.
ATLAS, Atlas, Atlas. Where do I begin with the handsome former Pro Football player? This man's whole demeanor was a take no crap from anyone. But he was a softy when it came to Sutton and Laurel. They definitely worked their magic on him. I cacled so many times when it came to him and Laurel's banter. She gave him a run for his money, and definitely didn't feel bad for it. She knew just how far she could push him in order to get him to give in. Atlas had such a soft spot for Laurel. He knew what it was like to grow up without a father figure and he refused to make her feel any less for not having anyone else but him. That right there is what endeared him even more to my heart. Even though he had his wounds from his childhood, he refused to make anyone else feel it. He cared enough to want to spare her and himself from the continued torture.
Atlas coached the local High School football team, but he made sure that they had the role model they needed from him. They were able to see his grumpy side, but not too much to be detrimental towards other men in their lives. I don't think I could have loved Atlas more!
This whole town gave me all the feels and made me want to find one like this to move to! The things that we could accomplish if we could live in a small town full of life like this without all of the nasty of the current world.

This was my first Alexandra Banks book I've read and I am so glad this is where I started. Everyone says this is the prequel to all the books and it makes me even more excited to read the rest of this series!
Harry and Louisa were the high school Sweethearts that had their struggles and definitely fell apart to fall back together. They have definitely been through it and came out of the mud together. Not just together but better than before.
Harry is a heard working man that is full of grit and carries the world on his shoulders. And his heart belongs to one woman that got away. Louisa is where his heart is, and he won't let the world dim out his love for her.
Louisa is a is full of fire and she isnthe resilient woman you always hear about but rarely see. Louisa comes back into town with nothing but a broken dream and her pride to keep her warm at night. She is the woman that you want nothing more than to cheer her on, so you make your sign and get your voice ready.
Harry and Louisa together were nothing but pure fire 🔥! They had the chemistry that so many people dream of having! Their emotional connection and mutual respect for each other is what brings you to tears.
Alexandra has such a way of weaving a story to bring you to tears. And I am here for it! I'll gladly come with my stock of tissue just so I can be front row for the show!

Let me preface this by saying that I am not a fan of Joe Arden. With everything that came out in the last 8 months regarding him, I didn't have high hopes that I would enjoy his performance. The beginning felt much more forced, but as the audio progressed it felt more natural. Together Amanda and Joe did a fantastic job on this audiobook! They truly gave life to not only this story but these characters!
Athena and Luca “Bones” Banetti couldn't have been more different in every way possible. But Athena found herself in the clutches of Bones after her latest errand from her “boyfriend”. Having sticky fingers can always change how things can go, but having WHOLE sticky HANDS, is a brand new situation she found herself in. She was literally dangling off one of the walls of Luca's property, when they came face to face. She knew that things weren't going to end well, but she sure as heck did wha she could to stave off the worst consequences. She just didn't realiize those consequences would come with even bigger ones along the way.
Athena was such a resilient woman! Luca called her Butterfly, but what he didn't realize at the time was just how much she truly resembled one. She had been through literal HELL and back. And she would unfortunately make a brief stence back there. I loved the spirit that Athena had, because she literally could get through ANYTHING. She didn't know where her life was going but she didn't see the complete 180 it would be doing. Once she was able to breathe and spread her wings she really grew into herself. She was able to live life without the restraints that she had previously! I constantly rooted for her throughout the book, she deserved nothing but all the best in the world. She had not only been neglected, abused (mentally and physically) but left without any kind of education.
Luca came in like the executioner from the very beginning. Even though that isn't what he was known for, he maded a point to use his initimidation to his advantage. Reaper was the one that everyone should be petrified of. But his story will come later. Luca was a take no crap person who refused to hear anything you had to say that didn't even come close to resembling the truth. He ruled his part with an iron fist and for good reason. He had those under him that were taking advantage of not just him but also Athena. That would not fly in his world, so he made sure that they knew exactly what they had invited in. As tje book progressed he became much more of a human being rather than the executioner that he played so much of the part. He was able to see exactly what Athena had been through and wasn't willing to subject her to that anymore.
I really enjoyed who he became in the last half of the book. He became a man who you would be prooud to have near you, much less the one you would call husband. He had the soft side that Athena needed, but also the stern side that she craved.
I really enjoyed being able to see how much his family embraced Athena and brought her into their fold. His mother was the matriarch of the family you always dreamed of having in your life. Even though his Dad had passed, his mother was always making sure that he was present and mentioned in the most important of times.
I am very excited to see what the next book entails!

At this point the intro to a large amount of my reviews should be that I haven't read the author before. Because here we are again 🤣. This couldn't haven't been a better first read from Jennifer!
I want to preface this by saying that this book is loosely based on The Princess Bride ✨️.
I DEVOURED this whole ALC like it was the last drop of water in a desert 🏜! This was the most perfect slow burn I have ever read. Hugo and Mallory never intended for their to be chemistry, or to find what they had been unintentionally been looking for. But they found it and so much more throughout this story.
I am still LIVING for their chemistry that wasn't as some would call outlandish. It was subtle at first and continued to snowball into something amazing by the end. I loved their conversations and the inner monolog we were privy to as a reader. Mallory reiterated how Hugo was tender towards her. And that is how you know that the last A-Hole she was with treated her like garbage. We never got his name, because he wasn't worth the breath wasted on saying it.
I couldn't get enough of Mallory and Hugo all throughout this book. They fostered each others feelings without intentionally in the beginning. But they couldn't help but put more into each other because its what they both needed and wanted. Hugo saying that Mallory and Peanut were his girls LITERALLY melted 🫠 me and my heart. Seeing his constant care for her and how much he truly loved her was so beautiful 😍. They had an undeniable connection and chemistry that couldn't be matched. With that Mallory and Hugo continued to heal the parts of their hearts that needed it the most.
Hugo was a protective person to begun with when it came to his family and the things they had to deal with regarding his Dad. He refused to let anything else bad touch his family. It was definitely for good cause.
His family is one of the most precious families I have seen in a book. They are a beautiful family unit that anyone would want to be apart of. They cared so much for each other and made sure that they were always taken care of. I loved seeing every person of his family throughout the book and their personality shine through. This is a family worth protecting and treating like a precious jewel. Its something you never let falter or grow weak. You nourish it all the days because there is never going to be another like it.
Mallory didn't have the family that Hugo did but she loved how much they folded her into their lives. She needed his family as much as she needed him, and I couldn't have loved it more.
This book was just so much more than I could have ever expected. I fell so hard for these characters but also with Jennifer and the hard work she put into this book. She has a way with her words that brings you in and wraps you up like a huge bear hug 🫂. I never want to leave this feeling behind, because its precious and not always readily available.

Mallory and Hugo were some of the most sexually compatible couples I have seen. I loved that he said he doesn't have a bump kink, but without Mallory that would have been true. She was it for him and he loved her bump.
I didn't know if their sexy times together would be good, but they GREAT! They gave me all the things I wanted from a book even if they weren't always meant to coincide with each other.

This is my first book by Laura Pavlov and I am regretting not reading any of her work previously! I would have loved everything that she wrote if it was as good as this book!
She wrote small town life like she had been living there her whole life and wanted to bring you into the fold. I couldn't have loved this book anymore than I did!
Montana and Myles are the cutest couple, all the way from the beginning to the end. Their meeting turned one night stand came at a high price for Montana. She didn't know who he was until afterwards. Their Banter gave me all the squeals and leg kicks! Not to mention the giggling I did as I read.
I get major heart eyes when characters become friends with benefits because they are legit getting the best of both worlds. But we all know what goes up must come down at some point. Although the fall may not always be great these two could weather the storm!
And we cannot forget the two other main characters in the story, Phillip The Moose and Porky The Porcupine! They were the seocnd best couple of the book!

I absolutely LOVE anything Bella writes. This one was a bit different that anything she has wrote that I have read before.

Lennon and Maddox are two very different people from two very different worlds who collide with a spectacular aftermath.
Lennon was such a beautiful person who just wanted nothing more than to receive the love she deserved. Being a Princess isn't for the faint at heart, but she did everything she could to just get through her time, until it came to a screeching halt.
I LIVE for the surprise pregnancy trope, and this was right on the money until it wasn't. Being a Principle Dancer in the London Ballet requires so much of you and your body. But not knowing until she's 5 months along? She would have noticed even the smallest changes on her body. She has too. Its her job. Then we see a couple of months after that she POPS. I feel like that was entirely too late. But let's not compare apples to oranges.
Another problem I had with this book was definitely the complete blindsiding of the DV scene. Not only was it unannounced but it went too far. One or two strikes was plenty. But getting more on top? Too much. I usually don't have any triggers but this definitely triggered me to not love this book.
Maddox was a whole snack on legs! Not only was he a snack but he came fully loaded. Body, 💶 and so willing to take care of the one that got away. Its mentioned in the book that he alongside his family are apart of the mafia. But nothing else is said about his part, other than the mention of his dad being the most feared man in the room. You can't say mafia without these being more. This was a complete fail on Bella's part. There should have been more said about his part even if he is opening his own restaurant. Men have done way more with less.
I truly liked both of these characters but the faux pas that kept showing up couldn't stop me from feeling like this was less than that 5 ✨️ read Bella usually delivers.
I'm thrilled to see what the next book brings!

Here I am once again at Elliott's mercy 🥺. She can write no wrong and I am here for it 🙌! I knew as soon as I read the first paragraph I was going to be in for a ride 😉. And this ride is one I will gladly take over and over again.
I loved that Sage and Beau had this special kind of banter. It was playful yet always holding their hidden feelings for each other. They couldn't hold it in allll the time!
Sage was a beautiful woman who knew how to work not just her own body but his or hers as well. I loved that she was not only a free spirit but also very much her own person. She didn't need a lot, she just needed beautiful scenery and her camera.
Beau definitely had his hang ups. AHEM (the wife that was everyone's personal nightmare.) He had so much to offer and I loved that he and Sage had such a beautiful bond. He definitely could have done a few things to speed up his prison sentence, but he chose to just ride it out. (We all know that was a joke 😃.) He had no qualms about showing his love for Sage in a number of ways. It just wasn't always in public. UNTIL IT WAS 😁. He went all out so that he could share his love for her in a way he knew would truly say I LOVE YOU ❤️.

Stay For Me is my first read by Brittany Ann and it will definitely not be the last! This book took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. From sad eyes all the way to my jaw hitting the floor. I couldn't stop reading long enough to pick it back up before was right back to where it would have been if I had picked it up.
I knew I was in for a dark cowboy romance, but Mags definitely gave me a run for my money! Mags had such a heartwrenching life and at times I wonered how this man made it through. I was just blown away. At times I needed to take a small break just so that I could compose myself and keep reading. Mags is one of the ultimate men of mystery. I know that this book doesn't lay him completely out for us to see, he has too many layers for that to be done in one book. I know this gorgeous man has his demons and thats okay. We all do even if we make it well known. He was definitely the perfect protector, and always did what he could to protect what was his. I loved his protective side. There is and will never be a better side to a man!
Diana was the lawyer for the town that she has settled into, and it happens to be close to Mags. After 10 long years of pining. The pining that these two had one over the years was impressive, but made me sad that they were never able to fnd their way back to each other before then. Diana definitely had her own journey with her parents among other interactions throughout her life. Even though her life has always had turmoil, she still always came back to Mags. His control, demands and everything that comes with him is her cat nip. Some people would question why she would be so drawn to him and how he treats her. Taking that control away to someone you love is different from the ones that do it willingly without our best interests.
I truly enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read the first in the series and see what else Brittan has in store!

This audiobook took me from hoping it was going to be good to I'M FERAL for this story! Our Narrators Maxine Mitchell, Sean Masters, JF Harding and Gregory Salinas made this story sooo much better than I ever thought could happen. Our narrators really took this performance serious and it truly showed in their performance.
I absolutely ATE this audiobook SO QUICK ⚠️. I couldn't barely take myself away from this audiobook once I started it. I couldn't NOT know what was going to happen next with Isabel.
The Whitmore Boys definitely had their way of doing things. I appreciated their way of doing things. They made sure that there was no collateral when it came to taking care of business. Isabel was the one that wasn't supposed to make it to where she was. But she refused to let anyone tell her what to do. She definitely fought for what she wanted, even if at times it felt futile.
These three men refused to do what their father wanted forever, so they made their world their own. They took their world and made it what they wanted.
These 4 definitely had a dynamic that couldn't work for many. But it fit them so well! They each came to know each other and their needs.
I absolutely love a WHY CHOOSE moment and this was no different. I enjoyed this and seeing how their dynamic is set up!

Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood did an absolutely FANTASTIC job bringing Blair and Griffin to life. Teddy and Savnnah gave Blair and Griffin so much depth. There is never going to be a better way than to hear the characters reacting audibly during a scene.
Savannah gave Blair so much when she voiced her part. Blair was brought to life in such a way that it felt as if she was right beside you. I loved that she gave her the personality I thought she already had.
Teddy was as always absolutely fantastic! He has such a way of giving each one of his characters life and character. I couldn't get enough of hearing him say all the things directly to Blair.
I truly hope that I am able to listen to another audiobook with these two narrators!
I don't know what Jenn does when she is writing but this book was pure magic. From the very beginning, through the atosphere this book brought so much to you as the reader. The vibes she brought just set the tone for this whole story, not to mention how she described the views all around Bluestone Lakes. If you follow her on IG then yuo were able to get a glimpse into Bluestone Lakes and see just how beautiful it truly was. Not only were thye vibes immaculate but these characters along with others in the town and the town itself gave me everything I needed in this small town romance.
Blair and Griffin were the absolute definition of Grumpy X Sunshine and I loved it SOOO much! Blair coming into town as a newcomer who just wantted to live her best life crossing paths with this Angry Cowboy. Griffin wanted nolthing to do with the City Girl, because he knew nnothing good came from city folk who weren't trying to stay. He just never knew what walked into his life.
I felt so many emotions when it came to Blair. Sorrow because she was thrust into such an awful circumstance that wasn't her doing. Anger because her husband obviously didn't care for her and just let everything go like it was never anything to him. Then came the joy that comes when she is doing well for herself. I loved who Blair was because she knew what she wanted in life an refused to put herself on the backburner. She flourished and found her family and village she needed.
Griffin was a man who had been hurt and hadn't found his reason to let that hurt go. After seeing that Blair wasn't just some city slicker and that she needed help he couldn't not jump in when she needed it the most. When he was able to finally let those walls come down a bit he was able to see her for who she was, not just some person who didn't care about the town.
When they finally hit it off and really starting getting to know each other I fell in love with who they were as a couple. It may have not been how all relationships go but it was their unique story.
I am so beyond excited for the next book in the series and cannot wait to see Poppy and Dallas's story unfold.

He didn't care what it took to make sure that she was safe and no one would harm a hair on her head. After some time he was able to see how much he had grown to care for Nesa. A relationship he never wanted but came to realize just how much he came to care for her.
I absolutely cannot wait for Book 3! I'l be waiting on the edge of my seat until then 😫.

Connor Crais and Stephanie Németh-Parker brought Nesa and Harper to life like I never thought could happen. I absolutely loved the way they were able to give these two so much character while still making it feel as if they are your friends. Friends you are having a whole storytime session with.
I loved their portrayal so much that I went and started finding more audio that they had Narrated. At this point I wohld listen to them recite the dictionary 🤣.

I am a newbie to C.B. Frey, I know SHOCKER 🤣. I couldn't have been more excited about this book. Yes I read the blurb, and saw some trigger warnings, but per the usual I went in as blind as I could. And I am so glad that I did! I didn't want to see any spoilers from anywhere, so when I dove in head first I was totally immersed.
Nera and Rafael were from the same world but also living in different worlds. Nera had done everything she could so that she could have the life she wanted. Not what was expected of her. Unfortunately that didn't last long when she was quickly taken back home. Nera refused to take anything lying down, but was always there to make sure she wasn't too far in over her head. She just didn't know what was coming her way.
I loved getting to know Nera as the book progressed. You were able to see her personal growth and how much she truly cared. Even if those around her didn't deserve her love, she was still the one that cared. She had such a large heart ❤️ and she couldn't help who she fell for. It may be taboo but she fell for the perfect person for her! Nera had a journey that wasn't your typical mafia journey. She was held at arm's length for a good portion, but knew enough about everything going on.
Rafael had a journey unlike any I have ever read. It was a heart wrenching journey full of uncertainties and he was taken in by a family he never saw coming. Rafael definitely had a past with a family that he struggled with, but he knew where his loyalties were. It was always for her. Rafael didn't want her to suffer and would do anything for her. He proved himself time and time again without fail. I loved this about him. He refused to back down just because other people didn't like their situation.
Rafael took care of her until the very end. The last part of this book was hard to read. I have been in the emotional grips of Alzheimer's when my grandma had it. It is not a pretty or nice disease. Nera was such a beautiful person and when it struck her I felt so deeply for her and their families. She did as much as she could in order to try to keep her memories. Her and Rafael had their own saying to hopefully help being her back to him when it was tough.
This book wrecked me in those last 8% of the book. It is such an emotional place to be when you are brought back to that place you didn't want to be. It really gives your mind something to mull over as to how someone felt in her place. I don't regret being put back in that place, even if it was hard to be there.
I loved that Rafael and her family came back to give her what she needed before the end. It not only gave her some peace but them as well. I loved being able to see Rafael give his toast at Christmas.
Now I need to read the first 2 in the trio! C.B. I'm coming for those books! Let's hope I'm not a disaster emotionally with those too 🤣.

Quinn was such a golden light wherever she went. She was the beautiful that you don't see as much anymore. I'm not talking about her beauty (although she was) I'm talking about that aura she has around her at all times. She was the light everywhere she went. People tend to flock to her because she is such a beautiful person inside and out. She had such a loving touching nature about her but also her confidence was mind blowing!
Even though Quinn had her dark moments, she always found a way to get some courage from Levi while he stood beside her. He showed his never ending love for her and it really showed through his actions and words!

I am a huge stan for Marie's writing. There hasn't been anything I have read that I didn't love and fall hard for! So when I saw this little beauty pop up I was like Thank you 😊 🙏 its just what I needed.
I am a huge fan of every single one of these tropes for this book. So I knew going in I was going to love it. I wasn't wrong, even in the least bit.
I loved Daisy and Adler's story from the beginning all the way to the end. They may have been married before but it just wasn't the right time for them.
When things weren't so great between Daisy and Adler the first time, I couldn't help but applaud her strength to go her own way. But I can't help but feel even more adoration for her when she had her daughter. She was the strong woman that we always hoped we can be someday. Dealing with the hard things one at a time and looking like a rockstar while doing it!
Adler definitely had some growing up to do, but was determined to make sure that he never made Daisy feel that she wasn't important. I loved that about him. He wanted to make sure she never felt the way he ans other people had made her feel before. He treasured her in a way he never had before. And her daughter only sweetened the deal!

Here we are again at the problem 🙄 I keep seeing in myself. Once again, this is the first I've read in a new favorite author 😍. Marni Mann has somehow escaped my reading clutches until now. I know, I keep asking myself the same question. WTH were you thinking? I can't even give myself an answer on that one. But now that I have seen why everyone LOVES ❤️ her I can totally agree on that sentiment 😍.
I went in head first and I am so glad I did. Marni did not disappoint when it came to the spice in this book. It came in hot 🔥 in the first chapter. Yep, you read that right. First chapter and we're getting a taste 😋 🤭 of what is to come in several chapters of this book. Hart did NOT disappoint in the fact that he was expecting a one night stand but came away with so much more. He didn't ever think he would wake up the next morning and be disappointed Sadie would be gone without leaving any info. That was when he knew this wasn't a one time thing. He wanted so much more. He didn't just want a nibble, he wanted the whole feast. This man was the ULTIMATE in making sure Sadie got what she needed but also taking her for a ride. She got so much more out of their time together without expecting to be so enamored by him. He had a whole vibe and personality that just made you want to be around him and just soak up his attention.
Seeing that they are both Foodies a lot of their dates revolved around food. Sadie loved everything about food so much she made it a whole career besides writing her food reviews. I love a woman who can own who she is and be her own boss! I loved that she was able to be a whole influencer but very few knew who she truly was.
Keeping a secret can be sooo hard when it comes to something that is your job but also a big part of you.
These two had managed to be their respective selves but also see how much their worlds were colliding without truly knowing the impact.
I couldn't have loved this book more! I loved that food was a big part of this but not as big as their love for each other was!
I cannot wait for my next Marni book so I can see how much more this woman will wrap me around her little Writer fingers!

This is the first book I have read by Liz and I am so glad that I chose this one! Letting Go takes you on a journey that I wasn't expecting.
I knew there was some background to Vivian's life but I never expected to feel so connected to her. She was such an amazing strong woman and mom. She did what she could for her baby girl to make sure that they were safe!
I loved her relationship with her daughter. It was so refreshing to see how much she truly cared. That sweet baby girl loved her mama.
Walker was definitely the protective MMC that was the perfect 👌 addition to this book and Vivian's life! I loved how much he truly cared for them and was willing to go the distance for them!
I loved how much they became the family unit they all needed. Who doesn't dream of having the family uou always wanted and needed?

Y'all already know that CL Rose is my #1 Author. If you didn't, you do now! She has taken me on so many journeys with her characters and it will never get old. She has a way with her words that just captures you from the first sentence. Her characters are so well written its like you're hearing it directly from them.
I am one of those that if it's not playing like a movie in my head then I'm going to struggle with it. Never has that happened with CL. And I couldn't love her enough for it! Okay imma stop waxing poetic about her. Let's Talk about this trio we have!
Hawk, Arden and Jackson were the perfect trio! I knew from the beginning that they were going to be DYNAMITE 🧨💥. And boy were they!! We got the best and not so best of these three. But it just goes to show that they were meant to be!
Arden was such an amazing character 😍. I loved her so much! She had been through it and was coming out of the right side of things. Until she had some barriers that proved to be really tough on her. Her mental health was affected by these events and she struggled. Luckily she had the support of her guys to get the help she needed and deserved to have. She took those coping mechanisms and used them when she needed them. Medicine also helped her deal with everyday stressor. Just because your brain doesn't have the right chemicals to cope doesn't mean you are a lesser person. Arden proved that time and time again. She was such a good person who worked hard for where she was in life. She just refused to let those barriers hold her back.
Hawk gave Arden the space to be herself but he was always meant to be her rock. Jackson was the boy that she could never have, but he was always there when she needed it the most. He was the soft to Hawk's hard. (It took everything in me not to make a sex joke right here 🤣.) I appreciated the Anxiety Rep that Candice gave us with Arden and Hawk. It was raw and honest in every way. If you've never felt it, you're a lucky one. When you have, you know the feeling all too well. Hawk and Jackson were always there for Arden when she needed it. Hawk supported her and suggested she see someone to help her cope. That right there is an invaluable person doing the best they can to help someone. I loved that Arden was able to find someone to help her find coping mechanisms and talk through the hard things in life.
Jackson was the soft teddy bear 🧸 of the three of them. Granted he had rock hard abs and toned AF body he was the gentle giant. He knew her so well from growing up with her and felt the pain when he wasn't able to love her like he wanted to be able to. Loving out loud was such a hard thing for all three of them considering they were all pro athletes. But even more so to Arden's Dad and Jackson's mom. They never thought it would go over well, but they hadn't anticipated the better side.
These two men couldn't have been more stunning as people. They both had their struggles but didn't let them take them over. Hawk was the older brother who wanted nothing more than to be able to provide for his family back when his brothers were small. Since he couldn't do that he made sure that he had a way to do it moving forward not just for them but also Arden and Jackson. Thr comfort of being able to take care of your family is like no other. No peace like that can ever be duplicated. My heart felt for this man and the trio he was inluded in.
I always hoped that CL would write a Why choose but I didn't know that she would do it so profoundly. This book hit me in a way that I never expected it to. I couldn't have loved it more!

Y'all. These three right here gave us a run for our money 💰. Not just because they run the bases 🤣. They gave us so much more than I ever expected. I've read my fair share of why choose and I can't even begin to tell you the newness that came from this book.
