I have been here since the first Weston group book and I will be here until the end. I will forever love this series! Each brother having their own book is like a huge reward for being so patient while it was being written. Marni has a way of bring that spice in the first 10 percent that really kicks off the book like nothing else.
Alivia and Walker have the most magnetic connection that takes off like a horse in a race! As they build thier relationship they see so much of themselves in each other. What was supposed to be a one time thing became so much more. Both Alivia and Walker crave the escape from their lives and find each other. They have chemistry that is undeniable, and it only only grew each time they spent time together. Each one had something to teach the other.
Each one had some pain whether it was not feeling the love for what they once had or not being able to just live a somewhat peaceful life. I felt so deeply for Alivia with each interaction she had when she went home. Walker had such a way of calming Alivia when she needed it. I loved that they each had that affect on each other, and wasn't scared of showing it to each other as much as they can. Walker had the expertise of cooking and I was so pumped when he started showing Alivia how to cook and plate the food.
There was so much emotion woven throughout every single page, whether it was the secrets they had or how much they needed to just spend time together as an escape it will so well executed. There were so many other ways this book captivated me but it stole my heart and stomped on it a few times. But I am more than happy about the tears that I shed and will gladly shed for the next 10 books.

Okay lemme preface this by saying that this book is dark, and not meant for everyone. It was PERFECT for me!!! I am a huge true crime lover and this was right up my alley. I ATE this book all the way up!! I started it one afternoon and finished later that night. My husband kept talking to me during his football game and I just nodded until he finally realized I wasn't paying attention 🤣🤣🤣.
There was so much going on in this book and it is one you NEED to pay attention to! If you don't pay attention you will get lost in everything that happens!
Halen definitely had her work cut out for her when she said that she needed Kallum's help. I mean she had done enough to make sur ehe would never be free, but she needed him more than she ever wanted to admit.
Kallum sure as heck was like YES PLEASE! I loved that he made sure that she knew that he had requirements once he was done helping her. He played those mental games with her and it was a TREAT to see all of the mental gymnastics he put her through!
I couldn't get enough and I am sooo excited to start book 2 and see what is going to happen next!

Warner was the emotionally closed off powerful Billionaire CEO who thought his life was as good as it was going to get. What he didn't expect was to wake up in the hospital with injuries and a wife. I loved how much he changed and was able to see people as so much more than what he did previously! There was a huge change in Warner and I loved every step he took to being a better person.
Delaney may have come into this relationship with ulterior motives but she got so much more than she had expected! She showed Warner what it was like to have real feelings, and to have more than disdain for the people around him. She showed him what its like to have a fulfilled life, and to care about more than the bottom line!
I loved this book and really hope that SL will write more after this and make it a series!

Billy did such an amazing job narrating this, and now I need a podcast with his voice!!! It has a way to soothe but also keep you alert to the information he gives throughout the book. I loved hearing his stories being articulated by him. It's almost like you are having a conversation and he is telling you ALL about it! Which I love more than I probably should. But it's different when you can hear an author speak their own words.

If you have ever watched True Crime Daily then you have probably heard the name Billy Jensen, or maybe not. But Billy is a staple at True Crime Daily. He writes this book and it shows his journey into helping solve murders. Not just murders, but disappearances whether current or cold. I have watched True Crime Daily more times than I can count, but hadn't heard his name in connection to the show, but in other ways.
If you are a murderino, then you heard Georgia and Karen talk about him on their podcast. Karen did the foreward for this and Iloved hearing how much she loved everything that Billy is doing to help people. It absolutely amazes me the effort that he gives to what he does. He gave the last bit of money he had to run an ad on FB. This man should be ableto run ads for free just for what he is doing. CMON ZUCK, give this man free ads!
As he took us through the journey of him helping to find missing people, along with helping finish writing I'll Be Gone In The Dark for Michelle, was soo emotional. He took up right where she left off and made sure that he did it justice! I loved that he was in close contact with Patton and some of the other more well known names in True Crime. Like Paul Holes, just to name one, to help finish writing her book. He also was very up on current events revolving around the Golden State Killer, so that he could make sure that all of the relevant facts were in the book. He wanted this man caught just as much as Michelle did. He knew her passion and how hard she worked to try to find this killer, and he refused to stop until he had to.
Of course, the LAPD refused to admit that without Michelle's book and work, they wouldn't have ever caught him. But we all know that a huge undertaking such as looking for TGSK is more than they ever could have taken on. Like Billy said there needs to be a division that people who are good at looking at details can come in and help find the perpotrators. Cause we all know that the police will never solve the cases they have.
Billy quoted that Japan solves 95% of their cases, Germany 80-85%, US up to 65%, and some others. But there is a huge gap compared to Japan, Germany, and US cases that are solved. I think there needs to be some reform in order to bring in people who can and will work on cases to help solve them. But we also know that if that ever happens, there is going to be pushback because the law enforcement that is working on it won't want to have civilians coming in, even if it helps solve cases.
I truly enjoyed seeing his journey, and to be able to see his methods and what truly worked the best for him to get results. Hearing him talk about the cases really got you that much closer to the whole thing. I truly appreciate what he has done and continues to do. It is something that you truly need a passion for to be able to work the hours needed to help find these people.
If you have any reservations, please don't. Grab this book and run with it. As per the usual, grab the audio because it really brings you in on everything. You can hear his thought processes and hear first hand his processes.

This was one of the sweetest Christmas audiobooks I have listened to! I truly loved seeing how the characters had made their way back to each other over the years and made their family! I loved seeing how our FMC found her love for Christmas once again after hearing her father say how much he truly loved it but didn't want to hurt her! And don't think I didn't love how much our FMC got along with the MMC's daughter and gave her advice on singing!
And I cannot finish this review without saying how much I really loved how the Christmas elements played such a huge part with the envelopes and treasure hunt to find them! This was such a fun thing for our FMC & MMC to find them as they go along through the book!
This book could have EASILY been a full book and I just know I would have been more smitten with it than I am now!

I had high hopes that I would love this one, especially after the first book! I really enjoyed it, despite some things just not being feasible. The biggest problem I had with this one is that the narrator is female while this main character is a man named Michael. So with that being said. I was thrown off to say the least. This story wasn't as good as I had hoped. There was more concern about Maguire running around the town than there was for the “investigation.” I feel as if there were too many characters introduced into the story for it to make sense. The story was more about everything before but not the investigation.
I honestly won't pick up any other books by this author.

I truly loved Hannah and Fab's story! What I thought was going to be a bang and go situation went straight into Rockstar Daddy! We went from Fab being SUPER hot to sooo much hotter than the sun when its shining! I can appreciate a man who knows what he wants and refuses to settle for anything less!
Seeing this little family build and build was such a bittersweet moment! I cannot wait to dig into more from LJ! She truly has a way of pulling me in and not letting go. I loved every single word spoken and feel as if I'm not going to be able to breathe properly until I read more of her work!

I LOVED getting to know our female main character and wish this could have been a little bit longer! I loved how Janis was the perfect person for the job! Although, I do have to say that if this had been real, there was no way that a chief would be okay with her just spilling her secret to the people she did. If she was truly undercover there is no reason for her to spill it. She would have needed to stay undercover so that she could suss out who was doing what without interference. Which kind of gave me the ick. Obvi this isn't real, but I would have hoped that the writer would have stuck closer to a real life scenario.

There is nothing I love more than diving head first into a Christmas Cozy Mystery! This was the perfect little audiobook to listen to when I needed a little more than some cozy Christmas mystery with lots of love. This had some love, but just the right amount for a murder mystery!
This is the first book I have read/listened to by this author and I am so excited to listen to more! This was perfecftly paced with plenty of surprises, along with even sweeter characters! I have a love for grandparents and Cinnamon's grandfather was a true joy! Yes, he may be a little rough around the edges, but that didn't matter. His heart was bigger than the rough edges.
Cinnamon was such a delight! Little did I realize her actual age until much later in the book. I got alll the middle age woman vibes from the book the whole time. So when I heard her real age I was a bit surprised to say the least!
I enjoyed the play by play and all of the characters that had shown up within the story! Not to mention the ones who seemed to cause the most raucus! I loved seeing how each character had their own impact on Cinnamon. Some good, some not so fantastic!
But I really enjoyed the whole story from beginning to end, although I wish there would have been more about the competition included.
The only thing I would have loved to see in the book was a pie recipe!

Welp, this wasn't what I was hoping that it would be. I borrowed this from Audible's Plus catalog thinking okay a short and sweet Christmas Cozy, right? Nope.
First of all I had no clue it was virtual voice until it started playing, okay my fault for not paying attention. Two, too many things didn't make sense throughout the story. I have read PLENTY of short cozy mysteries. They are more direct and to the point, but show a little bit of how the MC goes on about solving the story.
This one gave us some of that but also some VERY unattainable results while doing so. Since when can a dog read and tell someone what something says? Yeah, I have yet to see that either. Now the dog bringthing them to clues, okay that is feasible. But then the person who is at the center of the crime in the end is barely seen in the story. There is a bit too much of a stretch for this one to really go over well for me. Not to mention the MC is in her early 30's, not 50s like the books vibes were. I understand that the writer is possibly a middle aged woman, but that doesn't mean that the MC needs to have the same thought process just because her mother is aging. Which was said in the blurb, which also led me to believe the MC is nowhere close to early 30's.
This just isn't going to be a series that I will continue.

Both had businesses that they wanted to succeed, but they both needed help making them up to caliber they had the potential to be with just a little bit of help! I loved seeing Enzo's Nonna still be involved even if she should have been living her best life away from the restaurant! But as she said this was her home and she refused to give up until she had to!
I loved seeing the constant wars the two places had with each other, and also the mustache wars they had! I loved thinking about the flyers that had each of their pictures on that had been posted stating that they had been banned from each place respectively.
I can't help but tell you how much these two were the perfect match for each other. They each had passions to make each business successful! Luckily for them, they had other people looking out for their love lives. I loved the small give and take that they each had, and how they each finally eased up on each other to truly see each other.
Little things that seemed like coincidences were more than that. They were the little things that truly gave the definition of Christmas Miracles. Especially on the Wishing Bridge. like random snow, and feelings felt of those that had been lost. But action put in motion by more than could be explained when Enzo went to NY and was mugged of his jacket, wallet and phone.
The best part had to be when they both realized how much they each meant to each other. Even if they had felt like that for a little bit but refused to admit it or just hadn't out two and two together. I loved this book so much and cannot wait to see if there is going to be another book after this one next year!!

Gisela and Andre were the perfect voices for this story! I honestly doin't think there could have better voices to give this story the life it has! I loved hearing the love and endearment in his voice as he spoke to her. You could tell that he never wanted it to end the way it had! Andre truly did a great job giving the emotion that the character obviously felt. Gisela also really gave the voice needed for this strong woman who never wanted her independence taken from her.
I loved that this was a strong theme for the book! There is nothing like having a strong female lead that refuses to take no for an answer when it comes to what she wants. Even though it may be at her detriment, she knows what she doesn't want to give up. I loved that she wasn't immune to Andre's sentiments and how he still made her feel. Even if it wasn't what she thought she wanted to hear, it was.
There is nothing I love more than the family aspect that was involved! Family whether born into it or found can be the saving grace for so many people and or issues. Sometimes, you just need a little push from the right people and places! I also r4eally appreciated that there was Lupus Representation within the book! It wasn't a HUGE part of the book but also enough to make an impact! I truly loved that Gisela's mom had moved on from her ex-husband and was able to find love in her wife Nicole!
I keep seeing people saying this wasn't a good book, and I have no clue what they read but this was a perfect short read. Although, I will gladly say this could have been a WHOLE 300 page book! The way I would have ATE this up!! But I did truly enjoy this little pocket of joy!

So many people complained about this book or gave it low stars, and it baffles me. These are short novellas so you can't expect there to be a ton of story. But that is exactly what I read, it was amazing!
I loved this novella and wished there would have been more. Which seems to be the trend as I read these! I can't help but feel fondness about this story, it was such a fresh gust of snow that I needed to help me get a little more into the holiday spirit!
I highly recommend this along with all the others that come in this collection! Especially because this gave us not only Christmas but also Hannukah! I don't know much about Hannukah but I truly enjoyed what this story brought with Hannuakah!

I haven't read a Meghan book in too long, and this was the PERFECT segway back into her writing! I loved this book soooo much! I am SOLD when there is a cute Granny, and then add in a super cute mail man who helps match make? TAKE ME AWAY!! This book was sooo precious! I wish this would have been a bigger and longer book!
I really loved seeing why Nola and Caleb were Scrooge-y! They each had their reasons but they also learned how they started loving Christmas again. Which is ALWAYS a HUGE win!! I am a Christmas obsessed woman who refuses to let anyone close to me not love Christmas and feel the spirit my Granny showed me growing up!
I loved this book soo much, and I was really sad when it was over! But thank goodness I can dive right into her other Christmas books!

I absolutely love both of these narrators and they couldn't have been more perfect for this book!! I loved Piper and Scott each for their own personalities! They were each others perfect opposite!
I loved that it started out as a note because he had broken Goosestav, her goose statue that sits outside her door. And let me tell you howmuch I loved having Goosestav in the story!! Let's not forget the best part of Goosestav was the clothes she put him in regularly! I loved that he was an elf and Scott told him his wishes for Christmas.
There wasn't much that I didn't love about this book, but the 3rd person POV dampened it for me. I'm not a 3rd Person POV girlie, it always feels like they are talking about themselves in the 3rd person. It is always just a bit weird for me. So many people complained about this book or gave it low stars, and it baffles me. These are short novellas so you can't expect there to be a ton of story. But that is exactly what I read, it was amazing!
I loved this novella and wished there would have been more. Which seems to be the trend as I read these! I can't help but feel fondness about this story, it was such a fresh gust of snow that I needed to help me get a little more into the holiday spirit!
I highly recommend this along with all the others that come in this collection! Especially because this gave us not only Christmas but also Hannukah! I don't know much about Hannukah but I truly enjoyed what this story brought with Hannuakah!

This isn't my normal review, but this is a series that I have so muich fun listening to! This is meant for kids, but the wackier this series gets the more I love it! Having Helena narrate this was such a treat!! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved Kate Winslet, but Helena just has a way with her voice that gives this story something different. Definitely a good different!
Seeing how these kiddos have changed throughout this book was very heartwarming. I love Emily who is doing everything she can to get custody of the kids. She is such a sweetheart, but she defintely had a side that not everyone has seen!
I really loved this book and am going to try to not listen to the next book so soon to tide me over till the next book comes out. But let's be honest, I don't think I am going to be able to hold out!

I absolutely love both of these narrators and they couldn't have been more perfect for this book!! I loved Piper and Scott each for their own personalities! They were each others perfect opposite!
I loved that it started out as a note because he had broken Goosestav, her goose statue that sits outside her door. And let me tell you howmuch I loved having Goosestav in the story!! Let's not forget the best part of Goosestav was the clothes she put him in regularly! I loved that he was an elf and Scott told him his wishes for Christmas.
There wasn't much that I didn't love about this book, but the 3rd person POV dampened it for me. I'm not a 3rd Person POV girlie, it always feels like they are talking about themselves in the 3rd person. It is always just a bit weird for me. I loved seeing how Caroline and Weston reunited and started building their relationship along with little Carter!! There was nothing I loved more than seeing how happy that little guy was with the family he had within Weston's friend circle!!!
I loved Weston and truly felt for him when he was dealing with his survivor's guilt of losing his best friend. I know that had to be a hard road to walk but he was more than willing to do the work so that he was a better person, not just for Carter but also for Caroline!
I truly loved this series and I cannot wait to see what else Lexie has up her sleeves! I know she is going to come with another amazing series and I am NOT SO PATIENTLY WAITING!

If you have seen my star rating then you can see how much I liked this book. Not much. I was very hopeful that this story woiuld captivate me and take me several twists and turns. NOPE.
If anything this book was a trigger multiple times over. The MMC was a gaslighting, lying, and manipulative person who only made his wife feel as if she had lost her mind. When all the signs were right in front of her the whole time!
If there is anything I can't stand is someone who has one of those qualities. Much less 4. This book was way too predictable and didn't leave crumbs. They left the whole cookie.
This is the first book I have read by James and honestly I don't think I will read another. If this would have been way less predictable, and only had one or two of these character traits it would have been significantly better.

I am a SUCKER for a Enemies To Lovers romance, especially when its a Best Friend's Brother! Easton and Elijah definitely had a love language of sarcasm! Which I speak very fleuntly! I loved their banter, and the chemistry they shared! I loved hearing some good banter! I was kicking and squealing at these two!
And I can't not tell you about Grandma Carol's friend Betty!!! I absolutely loved that woman!! She was a spitfire the story truly needed!! I always love it when there is a spunky grandma added to the mix!!! Now Grandma Carol was a whole other issue, but I think at the heart of everything she had some good intentions, just not explained.
There was some serious trauma that Easton carried and it was unfortunate that she had to find out the way that she did why everything happened the way it did. I felt sooo deeply for Easton and the circumstances she was dealt.
I have yet to find a book that Elizabeth has written that I didn't love! I am sooo beyond excited to read the next installment of this series!
