oof, okay miss evie, i guess i asked for capricious gods and i got them hahaha
once again, fbaa flashbacks reading this one, but can we talk about how many twists the story took? i have to say i loved the sabine and basten having power dynamic problems, it was bound to happen, did i like how it was resolved? not that much, although it does feel like that's what people do when trying to salvage a relationship 😂
i was hoping woudix's character would've had a bit more romantic protagonism? i know this is no why choose (throne scene notwithstanding) but damn him, he was smooth, i wanted him to meddle a little bit more while he could😂
i do think sometimes there were holes in the plot, specially at the end, i feel like the gods did evolve to being a bit more cruel but these are oh so powerful beings and at the end they were like oh well, we'll be back, they didn't offer much resistance, but that's personal preference o guess 🤷🏼♀️
overall this was one hell of a ride, so thank you so much to evie and her team for sending me the arc to read it early 💞
