Awesome concepts of technological advancements combined with great descriptions, hampered by a not-so-refreshing storyline and spectacularly wooden dialogue. Come for the concept, stay for... Well. Stay for the concept, too, I guess.

A spectacularly frustrating read. The constant switching of the sides, the continuous descriptions of unimportant details, the annoying characters, the lack of focus, the constant additions of plot points that fizzle out and/or aren't explored to any meaningful extent... Argh. I wish the author would have focused on a single part of the narrative, or maybe picked one of the many seemingly pointless betrayals and explored that. But no.
