Actually a DNF. Sorry Lauren but that was so bad.

I will admit I was close to DNFing this book a few chapters in because being totally for real, I was boooooored.

I am so glad it picked up because once it did I was locked IN. Hate Regan, can't decide on Blake still, and I do think more could have been done with the ending but I guess thats what book 2 is for.

I think if those things were sort of ironed out, it would definitely have been a 6 star read.

Enjoyed the audio refresh as much as I enjoyed the first read last year 😍
