Since this is a late review, i had so much to say about this book but i felt like i would be offending someone. The storyline felt forced and unnecessary, the intent of cheating or simply cheating was a turn off. To make the girlfriend of the love interest so lovable and making her storyline so sad wasnt fair. I dont know why i bothered to make it through to the end
So, i wasn't aware that COVID patients were hallucinating when they were sick and also, despite this book having such a bad storyline, the way the author simply talked about breaking rules and the main character meeting her covid-positive mother without a mask because she couldn't recognize her and goin for a stroll in the park while they were supposed to be quarantined?!
Misha, I just want to tell you that you're a literal angel!
I love this book and this book made me fall in love with Misha even more, maybe more than before. The words that have been written, the way they have been written and how beautiful each moment has been made, has me clutching my heart.
Also, gasped at the mention of Mary Oliver, reminded me of my close friend. She's her favorite author.
5 stars deserved.
this is a book about romance between a doormat and a shoe which constantly smacks the doormat. It was really romantic and made me all tingly, especially when he called the doormat by the wrong name.
sorry i just had to
worst writing style btw what the fuck were miles' pov chapters. it gave me headache
look, i assumed that colleen hoover's genre was similar to what she did in verity because it was the first book i read of her but i was disappointed, so fucking bad. and i somehow still gave her chance over another chance.
this was marketed as romance, it was shelved under romance but this is pure fiction. the coercion of romance in lily's life by forcing her to rekindle her feelings for atlas was just the cherry on top of the cringe like just...send the message of wanting to end abusive men and move on bro
