It had its moments, but a bit info dumpy at times. The plot felt a bit floaty/non existent. Things were definitely happening but it rarely really felt like the characters were experiencing them. More like a series of scenes than a continuous arc I guess? The romantic dynamic was just also not my personal preference so that didn’t really help. Bit of a disappointing start to a new spinoff, but I am more intrigued in some of the other pairings so will keep reading.
