In 1953, Jodorowsky moved to Paris, where he founded the Panic Movement with Arrabal and Topor, later relocating to Mexico. He lived there for twenty years before returning to France, where he settled permanently. He has stood out as a film director, with his movies being controversial and regarded as cult classics.
