Beverley Watts's most popular book is Grace with 18 saves and an average rating of 3.5.
Amazon bestselling author and Kindle Storyteller award nominee, Beverley spent eight years teaching English as a Foreign Language to International Military Students at Britannia Royal Naval College, the Royal Navy’s premier officer training establishment in the UK. In the whole of that time there was never a dull moment and many of her wonderful experiences at the College were not only memorable but were most definitely ‘the stuff of fiction.’ Her debut novel, An Officer and a Gentleman Wanted was written in a light-hearted ‘Bridget Jones’ style diary format and very loosely based on her adventures at the College.
Though she didn’t begin writing until in her early fifties, Beverley is now a full-time author and particularly enjoys writing books that make people laugh (and occasionally cry). She currently has thirty two books available on Amazon - three series of Romantic Comedies, both contemporary and historical, as well as a humorous cosy mystery series – all but one set in the fictitious world of the Shackleford family.
Growing up, Beverley lived in Nottingham, but moved to southwest England in the early 1990s, and now resides with her husband in an apartment overlooking the sea on the beautiful English Riviera in south Devon. Between them they have three adult children and two gorgeous grandchildren plus four rescue dogs of indeterminate breed called Florence, Trixie, Lizzie and Agatha (all named after inspirational British women of course…)
