Daniel James Abraham (born November 14, 1969) is an American science fiction and fantasy author, comic book writer, and television producer. He is best known for co-authoring The Expanse series of novels under the joint pseudonym James S. A. Corey with Ty Franck, which was adapted into the critically acclaimed television series *The Expanse*. Abraham has also written the *Long Price Quartet* and *The Dagger and the Coin* fantasy series, as well as the *Kithamar Trilogy*. In addition to novels, he has worked on comic adaptations of George R. R. Martin's *A Song of Ice and Fire* series, including *A Game of Thrones: The Graphic Novel*. His work is noted for its intricate world-building, complex characters, and blending of science fiction and fantasy traditions.
