James S. Murray

James S. Murray is a writer, Executive Producer and comedian, best known as “Murr'' on the hit TV show Impractical Jokers. Impractical Jokers airs on TruTV and TBS between the hours of 8am through 8am the next day, pretty much 7 days a week. The show is in its 11th season, with Season 12 on the way in 2025.

Prior to Impractical Jokers, he worked as the Senior Vice President of Development for the TV company NorthSouth Productions for over a decade. During his tenure there, he developed and pitched thousands of TV shows, and even sold a bunch; of which a couple were pretty good.
