Joris Chamblain is a French comic book and children’s book writer. After deciding early on to pursue a career in comics, he turned to writing and published his first album, La recherche d’emploi, in 2010. He is best known for Les Carnets de Cerise, created with Aurélie Neyret, a critically acclaimed and bestselling series that won the Fauve Jeunesse award at the Angoulême International Comics Festival in 2014. He now focuses on writing comics and children’s books, and was awarded the 2019 Livrentête Prize (Junior Comics category) for Journal d’un enfant de lune.
