Author Bio

Lee Watts has authored 7 books (so far) ranging from fiction to theology. He believes (and I know he believes this because I'm him, and I'm the one writing this) that a good story should make you laugh a lot, cry a little, warm the heart, uplift the Lord, and teach something along the way.

“Quest of the Dragon’s Princess” (2024) is a rom-com fairy tale for all ages. The story’s filled with adventure, humor and heart. At its core it examines how false love wants but true love gives. With a narrator like Monty Python, humor like “The Princess Bride,” and values like Narnia, there’s something for every reader to enjoy... unless you're a stinkerpot.

“The Coming One” (2023) is a spy thriller sure to keep you up reading “just one more chapter.” It's about a retired Marine turned hospital chaplain who, through no fault of his own, gets caught up in a conspiracy of the one-world shadow government. As one Amazon review puts it, “This is the political intrigue novel you have been waiting for! The character development is fantastic, allowing the reader to become invested in their stories. The infusion of Christian principles, Biblical prophecies, and historical quotes is phenomenal.”

The “War of the Realms” trilogy (2019) has been described as “Christian Star Wars” with epic space battles, pirates, alien artifacts and millennia-old secrets. When patriots are outlaws and believers become fugitives—it’s time for a revolution!

“Omega Hours” (2018) This non-fiction book is a verse-by-verse commentary through the Bible book of Revelation.

“Weighed in the Balances” (2011) is a non-fiction book comparing the Bible versions. It traces these versions through history to see where they each came from then examines key doctrines in a side-by-side verse comparison to see if all Bibles are created equal or if they are teaching different things. As one Amazon reviewer says of the book, “It is presented in an objective, non-confrontational way, so that the reader is able to make their own conclusions from the facts provided. Highly recommend this book.”

Lee and his wife Chrissy have two grown children, two great dogs, and one lazy cat. Dr. Watts crosses the country preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and teaching series on: America’s Christian Heritage, Bible Version Comparisons, and the History of the Baptists.
