Mercè Rodoreda

Mercè Rodoreda i Gurguí was a Spanish novelist, who wrote in Catalan. She is considered the most influential contemporary Catalan language writer,[1] as evidenced by the references of other authors to her work and the international repercussion, with translations into more than thirty languages.
