Michelle Slatalla

Ms. Slatalla received a B.A. degree in journalism and English from Indiana University in 1984 and an M.A. degree in English from Columbia University in 1985. She is the co-author of "Speeding the Net: The Inside Story of Netscape and How It Challenged Microsoft," published by Atlantic Monthly in 1998, and "Masters of Deception: The Gang That Ruled Cyberspace," published by HarperCollins in 1995. She has also co-authored several novels including "Flame War," published by Morrow in 1997, "Mother's Day," and "Shoofly Pie to Die," published by St. Martins in 1993 and 1992, respectively.

Ms. Slatalla is married, has three children and lives in Huntington, New York.
