Molly O’Dowd, a Bristol-based author, has always been drawn to storytelling, inspired by the books that shaped her childhood—starting with The Girl Who Could Fly and The Trylle Trilogy, and later in life books such as Faebound, Wolfsong, and The Shepherd King series. A longtime lover of fantasy, she explores LGBTQ+ romances in her own fantastical worlds, aiming to fill the gap in representation within the genre. Influenced by anime and series like Re:Zero and Arcane, as well as authors like TJ Klune, she blends magic, romance, and complex interpersonal dynamics in her writing. When she’s not working on her next book, Molly enjoys painting, drawing, and unwinding with her favourite TV series. She hopes readers walk away from her stories with a love for her characters—and maybe a bit of impatience for the sequel she’s already writing.
