Wendell Pierce

Wendell Pierce is an American actor and businessman. A Juilliard-trained performer, he is best known for his roles as Detective Bunk Moreland in the HBO drama The Wire (2002–2008), trombonist Antoine Batiste in Treme (2010–2013), and attorney Robert Zane in Suits (2013–2019). His film credits include Malcolm X, Waiting to Exhale, Ray, and Selma. He performed the lead role of Willy Loman in the 2019 West End revival of Death of a Salesman. He was named a Presidential Scholar of the Arts in 1981.
