25 Days 'til Christmas

So, I believe this is the first “Christmas book” I've ever read.

I was expecting a corny ass hallmark movie in book form...and this....wasn't that.


This book dealt with some real shit including but not limited to death, poverty, sexual harassment, & special needs. It was quite depressing at times.

However, I didn't hate it. It actually turned out to be a good little story. I did have some issues though.
-The characters were a little bland. I liked Daniel, but Kate was just Meh.
-I felt that it was overly descriptive at times.
-The ending was blurted out within the last 15 pages. (I hate that. It makes the ending feel rushed.)

There are more, but those were my main issues.

If you're looking for a light and fluffy Christmas book, then this is not for you. I mean, give it a go but be prepared to be sad through most of the book.
