A Court of Thorns and Roses

I don’t know why, but I was kind of under the impression this was like ‘the Cruel Prince’? It’s not?? It’s so so much worse?? I’m not sure why I thought that, but I feel like they have similar audiences and I don’t know why. This books writing was subpar, and I wasn’t engaged at all. The love story is so bland and cliche, and the main character is so stupidly one dimensional it’s infuriating. Just because they have similar audiences, does NOT put them on the same playing field.
