This book hooked me from the very beginning but by the halfway point I started to get really frustrated with it and both of the main characters. There really wasn't a good reason for them to not be together in the 11ish years this book spans and I got tired of the back and forth, to the point where I started skimming because I just wanted to finish.
I'm not a romance girlie, but I thought I would take a chance because this book got so many good reviews. Well, I am glad that I read it. I enjoyed this book immensely. It was very satisfying.
what 👏🏻 the 👏🏻 fuck 👏🏻 this was an endless drone of “will they end up together? will they not?” B & Jamie are both selfishly annoying and had absolutely nO CHARACTER GROWTH IN THE ENTIRE 12 YEAR TIMELINE OF THIS STORY. they learned nothing from their mistakes. Steiner wants you to feel the angst and have “real” characters but honestly I just wanted to fight everyone.
