Millie Sullivan is stuck. She's struggling financially, and then finds herself in a situation where she needs a good amount of money, badly. When she learns that she may have historical ties to a wealthy family in the area, she jumps at the chance to work at the Chateau museum, where she hopes to uncover both her family history and the treasure rumored to be hidden somewhere on the estate. She is caught snooping by Ben Thornton, a security guard by night and history professor by day, who is also in need of some extra cash. They reluctantly decide to work together to find answers, and a fascinating historical treasure hunt ensues.

This was a light, fun read. I really enjoyed the slight mystery of the treasure hunt, as well as the historical aspects of this book. I found myself quickly turning pages to find out what happened, and thinking about it when I wasn't reading. It's been a while since I've gotten that invested in a story. The plot kept pushing me along, and I really enjoyed it! I'm not a huge fan of romance novels, and this book had a pretty heavy romance plot. There wasn't anything inappropriate, but it got too angst-y and saccharine-sweet for me. If romance is your thing though, this is a good one. I've already recommended it to friends who I know will enjoy it! I think it would make a great summer beach read. I'll be looking for book 2 in the Georgia Coast Romance series, Glitter of Gold.

I received a copy of A Sparkle of Silver from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
