A Touch of Passion

Alright, to be honest the only reason I am still reading these is because I really want to know who wants to destroy the Libertine Scholars! I liked the romance between Portia and Grayson, but I felt like a lot of the dialogue was... trite. For instance, when he was of course taking her v-card, he “felt humbled.” Seriously? I could have done without that line. And he said to Portia after something about feeling “honored and humbled that he would be the first and only man to know her in such a way.” UGH!!!

Anyways, besides that, it was an okay book. The mystery surrounding the villainess will not be enough to hold my attention for 4 more books though. I will give the next one a try, and if the story is not improving, I am thinking I will just skip to the last one.
