Magical realism has not in the past proven to be a great fit for me.
This is a short story from the master of magical realism, GGM.

As always with GGM, it is masterfully written, with atmospheric description, and clever text.

He argued that if wings were not the essential element in determining the difference between a hawk and an airplane, they were even less so in the recognition of angels.
