A Week in December

Another GoodReads win! I love reading books I might not have purchased. And I enjoy sharing with others.

This has to be the very worst book I have ever read. Since I won this book, I continued to read it to the end so I could give it a fair review.
I struggled after getting less than one-third of the way into the story.

The characters were boring. Even the ending was boring. I kept falling asleep while reading the book, so I tried to read it during the day instead of at night. That didn't work either.

Many times throughout the book, it seemed like the author would go on a little journey without any meaning and not necessary to the story.
One felt almost like the author was writing a movie script instead of a book, and was telling the character exactly what to do.

How ironic - it took months to read about “A Week in December”.
I would not recommend this book to anyone.
