In reading this book, I learned about the pure endurance required of migratory birds to complete the jaw dropping migrations they undertake, the challenges of actually doing the research, and, most impactful, the risks posed to migrants who rely on climatological signals across the globe in a rapidly changing world. There is still so much unknown about the lives of migratory birds, this gave me a peek behind the door, and made me even more interested in what the full story might be.
