The last time I read these two stories, I think I was in elementary school - middle school at the latest. All these years later, I am still as fond of Alice and her adventures so nonsensically woven by Lewis Carroll. Reading this book reminded me of the importance of retaining some threads of youth, particularly with regards to creativity, imagination and curiosity. I love how ridiculous and unconventional the characters and speech are throughout both stories and especially enjoyed the wordplay and puns, being older and better able to understand them. A great, easy read that my future children will hopefully enjoy just as much as me!
