I've been itching for a good crime fiction that is from a perspective other than a police officer. I really enjoy investigative reporting as a storyline and All the Broken Girls fits that well.
I absolutely loved Mari. She's fierce, headstrong, smart and just amazing. What I like to see in a strong female lead. I especially love how she can also be vulnerable and realize it's not weak to have others help when needed.
The story itself was enjoyable and flowed well and easy for me. I finished this one quickly and look forward to reading more from this author.
